Celtic boss sacked
Thursday, 25/03/2010
Celtic have sacked boss Tony Mowbray after the club's shock 4-0 drubbing at St. Mirren.
It was an unlucky 13th defeat for the former West Brom manager since he arrived at Celtic Park last summer - and The Bhoys first-ever loss to Saints in the Scottish Premier League.
Celtic old boy Paul Lambert who has turned around the fortunes of Norwich City and former captain Neil Lennon, now a coach at Parkhead, are the frontrunners for the job. Former Man City chief Mark Hughes and Ipswich gaffer Roy Keane are also thought to be in the running.
