Celtic’s amazing turnaround

Celtic go into 2012 as Scottish Premier League leaders after completing an amazing turnaround.

Their 1-0 victory over Rangers in the Old Firm derby saw them take a two-point lead at the top of the SPL.

On November 5 they were a staggering 15 points behind Gers but a nine game winning streak has seen them overtake their fierce rivals.

In a match played in strong swirling winds, a header by Joe Ledley after 52 minutes gave the Hoops a home win.

Referee Willie Collum booked four players but kept a firm grip on the crucial tie, especially as Rangers tried to pile on the pressure for an equaliser in the dying stages.
