City star set for exit
Wednesday, 08/12/2010
Shaun Wright-Phillips looks almost certain to leave Manchester City in January.
But the England winger may only leave Eastlands on loan unless the club get a big enough transfer fee.
City chiefs are almost certain to demand that any club taking the midfielder also pay all of his wages.
Wright-Phillips returned to City after a spell at Chelsea during which time he was seldom used. He has found himself in a similar position again, pushed down the pecking order.
In addition, his father Ian Wright has been banned from Man City's ground for talking about how his son's career has been damaged by being left out of the side.
The player has been linked with moves to Liverpool, Aston Villa and most recently West Ham.
