Coleman set for Wales
Sunday, 15/01/2012
Chris Coleman is set for talks this week about taking over the role of Wales manager.
The former defender admitted today that it would be a hard to decision to take over the post made vacant following the tragic death of his friend Gary Speed in November.
But Coleman, the former Fulham and Coventry boss, added: "It is a very sensitive situation so if I am offered the job and I accept it I'll have mixed emotions."
Coleman, 41, who has also managed Real Sociedad in Spain, recently resigned as boss of Greek side Larissa, who were laying third in their league.
He said he had to call it a day and come home because of the side's financial struggles.
Coleman won 32 Wales caps during a playing career which took in Fulham, Blackburn, Crystal Palace and Swansea.
