Drogba to stay
Friday, 20/01/2012
Didier Drogba is set to stay as a Chelsea player until the summer.
The Ivory Coast striker is understood to have turned down a move to Fenerbahce.
And he says he is not rushing into a move to join former team-mate Nicolas Anelka at Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua.
But the 33-year-old is looking more and more likely to quit Stamford Bridge at the end of the season as he looks for one last big move in his career.
Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has also been keen to keep hold of Drogba with Fernando Torres still unable to find his shooting boots.
The player has been involved in contract talks with the Blues but it is believed he wants a two year deal and they are currently only offering a year.
