Falque’s a Spur

Yago Falque has joined Tottenham from Juventus after making his loan deal a permanent move.

The Spain Under-21 midfielder will now join Championship promotion hopefuls Southampton for the rest of the season on loan.

Harry Redknapp has moved fast to sign Falque after he has impressed in the handful of games he's played in for the Spurs first team.

Southampton boss Nigel Adins said: "Tottenham rate him highly and have loaned him out to ourselves where he will become another addition to the players that we've got to give us that opportunity to get back into the Premier League."

Falque, 21, had been on a season-long loan to White Hart Lane with a veiw to a permanent move at the end of the season.
