Hughes for Fulham
Wednesday, 28/07/2010
Mark Hughes is the red-hot favourite to land the Fulham manager's job.
The Cottagers lost boss Roy Hodgson to Liverpool earlier in the summer and last week missed out on getting Ajax coach Martin Jol as his replacement.
Hughes, the former Wales, Blackburn and Manchester City gaffer could be named new boss at Craven Cottage very shortly.
It is understood that Hughes – an early front-runner in the race for the post – has leap-frogged former England boss Sven Goran Eriksson for the hotseat.
Bookies have reported a flurry of bets on former Man United and Chelsea hitman Hughes, increasing speculation that an announcement is imminent.
