Inter bid for Tevez
Monday, 16/01/2012
Inter Milan have made a £21.5m bid for Carlos Tevez.
The Italians have offered Manchester City 25 million euros for the Argentina star who is currently in his home country without permission from his club.
Inter had hope to land the striker on loan until the end of the season but City are insistent they will only do a deal on a permanent move.
Boss Claudio Ranieri said: "Now it is up to City whether they accept that bid or not."
Rivals AC Milan have been linked with Tevez for months but withdrew from talks last week.
Mega rich Paris Saint Germain are also interested in Tevez who fell out with City boss Roberto Mancini after allegedly refusing to take to the pitch as a sub in a Champions League fixture.
Tevez has already been fined by his club and there are reports that he could be hit with penalties totalling up to £1m.
