Lille want Cole

Joe Cole could make his move to Lille a permanent one.

The former England midfielder has found a new lease of form since arriving in France on a season-long loan.

Cole is due to return to Liverpool at the end of the campaign but has already hinted that he is settled in Ligue 1 and may fancy prolonging his stay.

Now Lille president Michel Seydoux has said the club could make the former Chelsea and West Ham star an "interesting offer" he he fancies staying.

"It is not a certainty that he will leave us," said Seydoux.

Cole hopes his return to form could push him back into the frame for Euro 2012 and is dreaming of an appearance for Team GB at the Olympics as one of their over-age players.
