Liverpool agree Adam fee
Wednesday, 06/07/2011
Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish appears to have won his battle to sign Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam.
An £8m fee has been agreed between the clubs so the Scotsman can leave the Tangerines.
Dalglish failed with a bid for Adam in the January transfer window but has gone back for Pool's captain, who had just one more year to run on his Bloomfield Road contract.
Adam's move is now subject to a medical and the player agreeing personal terms.
The Scot, 25, was a £500,000 bargain buy from Rangers in 2009. The fee was a record payment by Blackpool.
He scored 12 goals in 35 Premier League appearances last season as Blackpool were relegated.
