Liverpool to change boss?
Thursday, 21/10/2010
Speculation is mounting that Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson could quit if the Reds don't win their Europa League game against Napoli tonight.
Former Holland star Frank Rijkaard is being linked with the Anfield post after he departed from Turkish giants Galatasaray.
The former Netherlands, Sparta Rotterdam and Barcelona gaffer left the Turkish side "by mutual consent" which led to him being installed as the new favourite for the Liverpool job, ahead of fans' choice Kenny Dalglish.
Rijkaard managed Barcelona to two La Liga titles and also the European Cup.
Liverpool's new owners gave a vote of confidence to Hodgson earlier in the week but with the side nestling at the foot of the Premier League they know they may have to act fast to avoid relegation fears.
