Man City chase Savic

Manchester City are chasing Montenegro defender Stefan Savic.

They are believed to have bid around £6m for the Partizan Belgrade star who played for his country against England.

Savic, 20, had a trial with Arsenal last year and has since been watched by a number of big European clubs.

Savic claimed he had a deal in place with the Gunners and that there had been interest from Tottenham and Birmingham City. It is thought the fee was a stumbling block at the time.

Chelsea were also linked to the player, who made his full international debut last August.
