Potters swoop

Stoke City look like boosting their firepower with the addition of Peter Crouch and Cameron Jerome.

Following the arrival of midfielder Wilson Palacios for £8m, England hitman Crouch was set to sign for the Potters for £10m.

Birmingham's former England Under-21 striker Jerome was also set to arrive despite Stoke initially saying they'd had no contact with the player.
