Four former Premier League bosses are believed to be on the shortlist for the South Korea manager's job.

Former Manchester City and England chief Sven Goran Eriksson is among the favourites along with ex-Chelsea gaffers Guus Hiddink and Luiz Felipe Scolari.

But recently sacked Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is also thought to be under considerationh along with Holland striking legend Marco van Basten.

Eriksson, 63, is out of work following his departure from Leicester City and has a big reputation on the international scene, although he could prove too costly for the Koreans.

Hiddink, 65, a close friend of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, is still being linked with a return to Stamford Bridge in some form of director of football role.

The Dutchman is out of work since resigning as Turkey boss after their failure to reach Euro 2012.

Scolari, 63, had a spell in charge of Bunyodkor in Uzbekistan after leaving Chelsea and is now in charge of Brazilian side Palmeiras for a second time.

Former Holland and Ajax boss Van Basten, 47, is also currently out of football, although he is working as a television pundit.
