Stevenage hold Spurs
Sunday, 19/02/2012
Brave Stevenage held Spurs to a goal-less draw to earn a place in the FA Cup quarter-final draw.
The plucky Hertfordshire side battled hard to earn a replay at White Hart Lane against their Premier League opposition.
And if they can beat Spurs they will have a home draw against Bolton.
Harry Redknapp's high flying Tottenham couldn't break down the League One side despite turning out a very strong team.
Meanwhile, Premier League Stoke saw off league new boys Crawley Town 2-0, despite Rory Delap being sent-off for the visitors.
A Jon Walters penalty just before half time and a Peter Crouch header just seven minutes into the second period saw the Potters to victory.
Stoke travel to Liverpool in the next round after the Red beat Brighton 6-1 with goals from Martin Skrtel, two Liam Bridcutt own goals, Andy Carroll, Luis Suarez and an own goal by Lewis Dunk. Kazenga LuaLua had equalised for the Seagulls before Steve Gerrard inspired Liverpool to glory.
Sixth Round Draw
Liverpool v Stoke City
Chelsea or Birmingham v Leicester City
Stevenage or Spurs v Bolton
Everton v Sunderland
