Sven to buy Magpies?

Former England boss Sven Goran Eriksson could be in the frame to buy Notts County.

Eriksson, who took over as Director of Football at Meadow Lane in the summer, is being suggested as a possible buyer of the club along with chairman Peter Trembling.

Owners Munto Finance have reportedly put the Magpies up for sale, despite only buying the League’s oldest team last summer.

County, who are currently flying high in League Two, sacked boss Ian McParland and appointed Hans Backe who worked with Eriksson at Man City and with Mexico.
