Premier League
DIMITAR BERBATOV, Manchester United
He grabbed a hat-trick against Birmingham but it could oh, so easily have been more. It wasn't just about goals but his all round play too. Berb has silky skills when he wants to show them and United fans know that his often-maligned laid-back approach can hide what a superb player he is.
Championship
JAY BOTHROYD, Cardiff City
Fabio Capello has already recognised the striker’s form with an England call-up and despite an injury blip the former Arsenal man has been banging in the goals for the Bluebirds, including one in the 4-2 win over Watford. No surprise that he’s been linked with a move to the Premier League.
Leagues 1 & 2
LEAGUE ONE: LIAM FEENEY, Bournemouth
The midfielder gave caretaker boss Lee Bradbury a great winning start with the only goal against leaders Brighton. But Feeney also put in the type of performance that will earn his stand-in boss the full time role.
LEAGUE TWO: ASHLEY GRIMES, Lincoln
The on-loan Millwall striker grabbed a vital hat-trick in the 4-3 victory at Stockport as he showed his true class. He is unlikely to stay at Sincil Bank!
