Premier League

Graham Alexander (Burnley). The Clarets skipper is the oldest outfield player in the Premier League at the age of 38 and put in a captain's performance to give his side their only away win this season after 17 attempts. He's also the penalty king and two from the spot in this game ensured a 4-1 win at Hull City.

Championship

David Wheater (Middlesbrough). The central-defender stuck with his local side despite relegation last season and helped them keep a clean sheet in the 1-0 win over visitors Sheffield Wednesday. But Boro are going to have their work cut out to grab a play-off spot.

Leagues 1 & 2

League One

Ian Harte (Carlisle). The former Republic of Ireland star scored with a stunning free-kick in the 2-1 win at Brighton to take his tally to 17 goals this season. Not bad for a full-back!

League Two

Kevin Nicholson (Torquay). The veteran defender kept league leaders Rochdale at bay as the Gulls romped to an amazing 5-0 home victory.
