Leagues 1 & 2

League One:

Paul Benson (Charlton): The summer signing from Dagenham & Redbridge notched twice against Plymouth on Saturday, including an injury time equaliser to seal a point for the Addicks. The 2-2 draw means that Phil Parkinson's side sit just one point outside of the League One play off positions.

Benson scored 70 goals in his time at the Daggers, helping them to a swift rise to the third tier of English football, and Charlton fans will be hoping for repeat heroics from the striker, who turns 31 tomorrow.

League Two:

Guillem Bauza (Hereford): Five points adrift at the foot of the Football League, without a single point from their last five games and managerless – the visit of league leaders Port Vale couldn't have come at a worse time for lowly Hereford. To secure a 1-1 draw with Vale, having played with ten men for over an hour, deserves great credit.

Bauza, despite seeing a penalty well saved, impressed and looks like the sort of player who can make things happen in a relegation struggle. The former Swansea forward hasn't scored since his Bulls debut, and will need to be amongst the goals to keep his new club up.
