Premier League

Nani (Man United). He’s a player re-born recently and the Portugal midfielder turned in another excellent performance in the 5-0 destruction of Portsmouth.

Championship

Brian Howard (Reading). The Royals got a vital 2-1 away victory at Doncaster thanks to his all-round performance and winning goal.

Leagues 1 & 2

League One

Luciano Becchio (Leeds). His two goals, one a header, the other from close range, saved a point for United in the 2-2 draw at Hartlepool.

 

League Two

Chris O’Grady (Rochdale). What would the league leaders to without their hit-man? He added another to take his season’s total to 16 as Dale won 2-0 at home to Crewe.
