SAMIR NASRI, ARSENAL

Two goals, the second a Goal of the Month contender, earned the France midfielder's side a 2-1 win at Fulham. Nasri has had a blistering season so far and is becoming as big a hero for Gunners' fans as Cesc Fabregas, after a shaky start to his Emirates Stadium career.

CRAIG BEATTIE, SWANSEA

Three goals in two games over eight days - the Scottish hitman is always a danger but in this kind of form he is vital! One header and one long range shot show that he is no one-trick pony.

Leagues 1 & 2

LEAGUE ONE

Just one game survived the weekend freeze, Sheff Wednesday's visit to Swindon where they went down 2-1. Goal machine Charlie Austin got the first but Jon-Paul McGovern hit the winner and was man of a dismal match.

LEAGUE TWO

Just two games not hit by the snow and Kevin Thornton was the pick of the players in those matches for Northampton in their 2-1 home win over Stockport. The midfielder hit the opener after four minutes and then continued his great form through the game.
