Premier League

Theo Walcott (Arsenal). A hat-trick and a great performance as Arsenal beat Blackpool 6-0. There could be hope for England!

Championship

Davide Somma (Leeds). Home debuts don't get much better than coming off the bench with 15 minutes to go and putting your team ahead with your first touch... well they do when you are South African Somma who then hit a second goal just before the whistle to give Leeds a 3-1 win over Millwall, having gone 1-0 down early on.

Leagues 1 & 2

League One

Andy Monkhouse (Hartlepool). The midfield battler put in a great shift and added a rocket of a goal to give Pools a 2-0 win at Yeovil.

League Two

Adam Le Fondre (Rotherham). The Millers' hitman was described as "magnificent" after this game and won 10/10 marks in many newspapers ratings for his four-goal performance as the home side came back from 3-1 down against Cheltenham to win 6-4.
