Premier League

Kevin Davies (Bolton). Davies for England? Don't laugh - the Wanderers frontman knows how to battle, how to play up front on his own and gives any defender a rough ride. Played his socks off and scored in the 2-2 draw with Spurs.

Championship

Peter Whittingham (Cardiff). He's skilled, he can put in good crosse, tease defenders and his penalty and goal in the 4-0 victory at Watford had the away fans purring.

Leagues 1 & 2

James Henry (Millwall). Scored a hat-trick in the 5-0 rout of Tranmere at the New Den, but his all-round performance was also impressive.

James Walker (Hereford). The frontman lashed home a 20-yarder to rescue a point in the 1-1 home draw with Dagenham and Redbridge and led the line well.
