Hooper could be set for a permanent move away from Carrow Road this month

Norwich sold Lewis Grabban to Premier League rivals Bournemouth on Monday, but he might not be the last striker to leave Carrow Road this month.

With Canaries boss hoping to complete a deal to sign Everton forward Steven Naismith in the coming days, another attacker, Gary Hooper, could be on the move.

The 27-year-old has already spent a chunk of this season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday, and the Championship promotion-chasers are hoping to sign the former Celtic man on a permanent deal when his loan spell expires this weekend.

Hooper has scored two goals in 11 appearances during his temporary spell for the Owls, and would be allowed to leave for around £3 million.
