Two wins from their opening three league games has capped off a fine start to the new Premier League season for Crystal Palace, although another striker could be a welcome addition at Selhurst Park as Eagles boss Alan Pardew ambitiously aims for European football next term.

Despite already possessing a strong overall squad; Palace attackers Dwight Gayle and Glenn Murray have both been linked with moves away from Selhurst Park and, should they leave, it would leave the team looking short up top.

In the last few days the South London outfit are said to have shown an interest in QPR striker Charlie Austin, and after netting 18 Premier League goals last term, he could be the man to fire them right up the table.
