Sitting bottom of the Premier League standings going into the international break, Sunderland manager Dick Advocaat could be the busiest of the top flight managers on deadline day as he looks to strengthen his struggling team with more than one player.

The Dutchman is keen to sign a striker and has been linked with a move for out of favour Borussia Dortmund attacker Adrian Ramos, who would cost around £7m.

Black Cats supporters will be hoping that any arrivals provide the quality needed to help push the club away from a relegation scrap.

    Sunderland still need two defenders

Safc are ready to put a bid in for Adrian Ramos worth around £6.5-£7 million. They are also in talks with PSV Eidenhoven for defender Jeffery Bruma, the former Chelsea defender could make his return to the Premier League in helping the Black Cats get out of the relegation zone going into the international break.
