Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to cough up £60m in a bid to land Belgium international striker Romelu Lukaku this summer, according to the Express.

The Ligue 1 champions, who finished an astonishing 31 points above runners-up AS Monaco in the French top-flight this term, are determined to outbid former club Chelsea for the services of Everton’s star striker.

The 23-year-old, who has 44 international caps for his country and is set to star for Belgium at EURO 2016 next month in France, scored a sensational 25 goals and provided seven assists in 46 appearances in all competitions for the Toffees this season.

Lukaku, who left Stamford Bridge for Goodison Park in a reported £28m permanent deal back in July 2014, is said to be interested in a return to the Blues this summer following incoming boss Antonio Conte’s interest.

However Laurent Blanc’s PSG are hopeful the staggering amount of £60m will help Everton steer the striker’s mind in the direction of moving to the French capital.
