Tottenham are reportedly keeping close tabs on League Two starlet Tyreeq Bakinson ahead of the summer transfer window, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Premier League side, who currently sit five points behind surprise league leaders Leicester City in the English top-flight standings respectively with only seven games remaining, are thought to monitoring the central midfielder’s form for Luton Town this term.

The 17-year-old, who is yet to make his first-team debut for the Hatters, has appeared in two FA Youth Cup games for the League Two outfit this season.

Bakinson; who stands tall at 6ft 3in, has reportedly been watched by Spurs scout David Pleat this campaign, who was influential in bringing England international Dele Alli to White Hart Lane last year from Milton Keynes Dons.

However Luton highly rate their prized asset and have already offered the teenager a three-and-a-half year professional deal in a bid to try and ward off potential suitors.
