Very few magazines reach their 40^th birthday. Shoot hit that amazing milestone on August 16, 2009.

But Shoot is now more than just a magazine. It is a global brand, still respected and remembered fondly by devoted football fans who have grown up reading a whole string of exclusive features from some of the biggest names to have kicked a ball professional.

Besides Bobby Moore, the likes of George Best, Kevin Keegan, Ian Rush, Alan Ball, Kenny Dalglish, Andy Gray, Bryan Robson, Paul Gascoigne and many, many more professional have had their own columns in Shoot.

In more recent years Joe Cole and John Terry have penned exclusive editorials for Shoot – and hopefully many more big names will appear in the near future.
