Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez is not having the best of times under manager Zinedine Zindane and looks set to be filling a lot of column inches this summer.

The Colombian international has been linked with a move to a host of top Premier League clubs, however, according to reports from Don Balon he is ready to snub Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea in order to link up with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

The Champions League winner, who scored in Real’s El Classico loss on Sunday, joined the Spanish giants a year after Mourinho’s departure, for a fee of £63m, so is yet to work with him in his career.

The 53-cap international has fallen down the pecking order under Galactico legend Zidane, making just 17 La Liga appearances so far this season compared to 26 last season.

Mourinho looks likely to continue his overhaul of the United squad this summer, especially having lost top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic to a potentially career ending injury.
