AS Roma have reportedly placed a £38 million price tag on Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United target Kostas Manolas, according to Goal.

The Greek defender is said to be a target for the aforementioned Premier League trio this summer, although none of the teams have launched an offer for the highly-rated 24-year-old.

The Serie A outfit are reluctant to let the in-demand centre-back leave with their defence currently ravaged by injuries, including Antonio Rudiger, who has torn the cruciate ligament in his right knee.

Chelsea are one of the sides that look certain to bring in a centre-half this summer having been linked with two other Italian based defenders in Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and Juventus’ Leonardo Bonucci, and Manolas could be seen as a slightly cheaper alternative.

The Blues finished 10th in the English top-flight last term and Antonio Conte is determined to strengthen a backline that conceded 53 goals in their 38 matches.
