Brazil international David Luiz is reportedly expected to complete a deadline day move back to Chelsea tonight, according to Sky Sports News presenter Jim White.

The Premier League side, who defeated Burnley 3-0 at Stamford Bridge to preserve their 100% English top-flight record so far this term, have been linked with re-signing the Paris Saint-Germain defender before the close of the summer transfer window tonight (11:00pm).

The 29-year-old, who has 55 international caps for his country, has already featured four times in all competitions so far this season under new boss Unai Emery at the Parc des Princes.

Luiz, who became the world’s most expensive defender of all-time after joining PSG from the Blues back in June 2014 in a deal worth up to £50m, is set to seal a £30m return to Stamford Bridge tonight (according to Sky Sports).

The Brazilian scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 142 games for Chelsea between 2011 and 2014.
