Spurs consider move for former PSG star

Tottenham are reportedly considering a move for Saint Etienne star Jeremy Clement.

It is understood that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is unhappy with his current crop of midfielders at White Hart Lane following the club’s slow start to the new season – drawing twice following their opening defeat at Manchester United.

The 30-year-old, who arrived at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard from Ligue 1 champions Paris-Saint Germain back in 2011, scored one goal in 43 appearances in all competitions last season.

However Saint Etienne are reluctant to allow their prized midfielder, who has three year remaining on his current deal, to leave before the club’s Europa League play-off tie against Milsami.
