After being stung in an undercover investigation by Daily Telegraph reporters on Tuesday, Sam Allardyce and The FA ‘mutually agreed’ to end his tenure as the national manager.

The former England manager had been secretly filmed discussing ways around FA rulings on third-party ownership, which has been banned by The FA since 2008, as well as poking fun and his predecessor, Roy Hodgson’s, speech impediment.

The former Bolton, West Ham and Sunderland boss was also filmed using his position to earn a £400k deal which involved travelling to the Far East to give keynote speeches and meet socially with certain investors.
