Leicester City remain five points clear at the top of the Premier League after Riyad Mahrez’s goal gave them a crucial 1-0 win at Crystal Palace.

However Tottenham’s 3-0 home win against AFC Bournemouth on Sunday meant that they kept the pressure on the league leaders.

Elsewhere; there were wins for Manchester United, Southampton, Arsenal, Stoke City, Norwich City and Swansea City over the weekend.

But with just seven or eight games to go, who were the top performers?

Here’s Shoot’s Top 5 Premier League Players of the Week…

5. Alex Iwobi (Arsenal)

Iwobi scored on his first Premier League start for Arsenal at Everton on Saturday.

The winger was a constant threat to the Toffees’ defence as he linked up well with the Gunners’ attackers; most notably with Danny Welbeck.

His hard work was rewarded just before half-time as he scored his first goal in the top-flight, taking the ball in his stride and producing a fine finish to put Arsene Wenger’s side 2-0 up.

I think that Harry Kane is best English striker because he has scored 71 goals for Spurs now and 40 assists for the club and I’m a Spurs fan and I hate Arsenal come on you spurs
