Top 5: Premier League stars still to shine in 2016/17

After eight Premier League games this season, it is Arsenal and Manchester City who are leading the way, both taking 19 points from a possible 24.

Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea, Everton and Manchester United are all not too far behind and have already produced some impressive displays.

There are a whole host of clubs however that need to start raising their game and they will be relying on their superstars to start turning the club’s fortunes around.

There are also some individuals who are getting left behind by their team and they will certainly need to up their standards if they are to continue getting game time.

The likes of Dimitri Payet, Eden Hazard, Georginio Wijnaldum, Jamie Vardy, Olivier Giroud and Riyad Mahrez have all had relatively quiet starts to the season, compared to the heights that they have reached over the last two campaigns, and they will be looking to add their stamp on matches in the run up to Christmas.
