West Brom manager Tony Pulis wants to take Southampton’s Rodriguez on loan before the end of the transfer window.

The ex-Stoke City and Crystal Palace boss is looking to add to his depleted squad and is also targeting four other signings before the end of Wednesday.

Rodriguez was on the brink of the England squad two years ago, but suffered a serious knee injury that ruled him out of the entire 2014/15 campaign.

Now back to full fitness, the 27-year-old is struggling for a first-team place at St. Mary’s and the offer of first-team football at the Hawthorns could prove to be a very attractive to the striker.
