Tottenham are reportedly confident of beating an array of Premier League rivals to the signature of England Under-19 international starlet Ryan Sessegnon, according to the Daily Mail.

The Premier League side, who currently sit third in the top-flight standings, 10 points adrift of leaders Chelsea, have been heavily linked with a summer move for the highly-rated Fulham left-back.

The 16-year-old, who has featured for England’s Under-19 side five times already, has scored four goals and provided three assists in 19 appearances in all competitions for the Championship outfit.

Sessegnon, who turns 17 in May, when he can sign a professional contract, is also said to be interesting Premier League rivals Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City, as well as Bundesliga champions FC Bayern Munich.

However, the report suggests Spurs are confident of beating off the vast competition to secure the teenager’s signature, who was a second-half substitute in Sunday’s 3-0 FA Cup defeat at Craven Cottage to the hands of Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
