Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Aaron Ramsey will be in the squad to face Sunderland this weekend.

The Gunners, who are currently joint-top leaders in the Premier League table alongside Manchester City and Liverpool on 20 points, take on the Black Cats in the top-flight’s early fixture on Saturday afternoon (12:30pm).

During today’s press conference, Frenchman Wenger warned he will have to be careful not to over-play the Wales international following his long-term injury.

The 67-year-old said, “Aaron Ramsey will be in the squad tomorrow and it is good to have him back.

“I have to be cautious with him, he has not played and we have only had one week with him.”

Ramsey could feature for Arsenal for the first time since suffering a hamstring injury against Liverpool during their opening 2016/17 league fixture at the Emirates Stadium.

The 25-year-old has scored 44 goals and provided 40 assists in 268 appearances for the Gunners since arriving from Cardiff City in 2008.
