West Ham have agreed a fee for Swiss attacking midfielder, Edimilson Fernandes, who is on his way to London in order to complete a medical, according to Guardian journalist, Ed Aarons.

The 20-year-old, who is set to join from FC Sion, has two goals and six assists in 48 Swiss Super League appearances, and made his youth international debut in March of this year for the U21 side.

The attacking midfielder – cousin of former Man City midfielder Gelson Fernanades – will cost the East London side in the region of £5.2m and will follow Sofaine Feghouli, Jonathan Calleri and Gokhan Tore, amongst others, into the London Stadium, this summer.

Hammers boss, Slaven Bilic, made is plans for the final weeks of the transfer window clear earlier this month when he announced he wanted a further five additions, before Deadline Day next Wednesday.
