West Ham are reportedly in talks to sign Chelsea striker, Loic Remy on loan from their London rivals as Slaven Bilic looks to strengthen his attacking ranks before the deadline, according to Sky Sports.

The Hammers have been chasing a striker all summer, and the search has intensified in the wake of Andy Carroll and Andre Ayew’s respective two and four month lay-offs.

The 29-year-old striker came to the Premier League in 2013 from Ligue 1 side Marseille, and has bagged 28 goals since making the move over spells with Queens Park Rangers, Newcastle and The Blues.

The former French international looks set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer after falling down the pecking order under Antonio Conte and already being linked with Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace.

The Irons boss will be keen to get any deal over the line quickly, with a massive trip to Man City on Sunday looming, after their second-leg Europa League play-off at the London Stadium tonight.
