As the curtain fell down on time at Upton Park, Michail Antonio grabs Shoot’s Player of the Month award for May as he gives Hammers’ fans a glimpse of what is to come when they move in to the Olympic Stadium.

The 26-year-old had an outstanding first full season in east London as his fierce pace and hunger has made him one of the first names on Slaven Bilic’s team sheet.

May was another brilliant month for Antonio, who bagged another two goals to take his total to eight for the season.

He made his mark in the final game at the Boleyn Ground, scoring West Ham’s second goal of the night, where the Hammers would go on to win an incredible game 3-2 against Manchester United.

The Irons missed out on Europa League football on the final day of the season at Stoke though, and despite Antonio grabbing the opening goal, Bilic’s side would go on to lose 2-1 at the Britannia Stadium.
