Chelsea have the chance to go eight points clear at the top of the Premier League and break Arsenal’s record by winning their 14th straight game in the Premier League when they visit London rivals Tottenham on Wednesday night.

Antonio Conte’s side face on of the biggest threats to their current run on the night they can break the Premier League record.

The clash between the two London sides has become significantly more ferocious over the last few years, with last season’s ‘Battle of the Bridge’ a clear sign of that.

With Conte’s side on a remarkable run, the starting XI have become very settled which, considering there is no European football to consider this season, means there is a high level of consistency.

Whilst the consistency is, of course, a benefit to the Blues and their fans, the highly settled side means a limitation of chances for the fringe players in the side.

With that in mind, here are TWO who should get a crack against Spurs…

The Chelsea academy graduate has finally been given the chance to prove himself in the Premier League this season, making eight appearances, however, he is yet to start a game.

The England U21 international bagged an assist in the win over champions Leicester, and will be desperate to get his first goal, and should get his chance to do that from the off against Spurs.

Antonio Conte’s side have the best defensive record in the Premier League and have a settled and solid back line.

The Frenchman is on his way back from a lengthy injury lay-off and should get the chance to show that he can enhance their solidity with a place against Tottenham.
