37-time England international set for huge career blow

Everton travel to London to face Chelsea in a crucial game in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Toffees have won three of their seven league matches since Sean Dyche took charge, lifting them to 15th place in the table, but they now face a Chelsea side who have also been in good form of late.
The Blues have won three consecutive matches across all competitions, and will be confident of securing a result at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
In the meantime, it appears that Everton have made a huge decision on the future of one of their loanees.
As per Football Insider, the Merseyside club are considering terminating Dele Alli’s contract.
The midfielder was sent out on loan to Turkish side Besiktas at the start of this season but his spell abroad hasn’t gone to plan so far.
The report claims that the Englishman will return to Goodison Park when his loan spell expires, rather than staying in Turkey for another season.
When he does return, Everton are said to be considering paying the player to leave rather than letting him see out the remainder of his current deal, which is due to run until next summer.
Alli may have played his last game for Everton
Alli, 26, joined Tottenham Hotspur from Football League side MK Dons back in 2015 and became a regular for Spurs during the first few years of his spell with the club.
In total, he made more than 260 appearances for The Lilyhites across a seven-year spell, having spent a year on loan at former club MK following his move.
During his time with Tottenham, Alli scored 67 goals and provided 61 assists, becoming a regular for England at international level, too.
The midfielder has 37 senior caps to his name, but hasn’t featured for The Three Lions since 2019.
The player’s career began to dwindle as he struggled for form during his final seasons with Spurs, and he eventually left north London in January 2022, joining Everton on a free transfer.
Alli struggled to secure a regular starting spot under then-manager Frank Lampard, though, and was told at the start of the current campaign that he could leave.
Since moving to Turkey, the midfielder has scored just three goals in 17 appearances, failing to register a single assist.
The ex-Spurs man has failed to make the matchday squad for either of Besiktas’ last two matches.
