Wilfried Zaha has opened talks about signing a new contract with Crystal Palace.

According to a report on Sky Sports the 24-year-old has been involved in talks to extend his stay at Selhurst Park now that Palace have secured their place in the Premier League.

Spurs have been linked with a move for the winger for almost a year with Arsenal recently joining the race for the one time Manchester United player.

Zaha is under contract until 2020 but has seen a number of recent signings come in on far more money including Christian Benteke.

With the prospect of Champions League football elsewhere as well as a massive hike in wages from his current £40,000/week Palace have decided to move quickly to give Zaha a new deal.

One aspect going against the player is his decision to play international football for the Ivory Coast which means that every second January could involve him playing in the African Cup of Nations.
