Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a move for Germany Under-17 international starlet Jann-Fiete Arp, according to the Mirror.

The Premier League side, who could lift the 2016-17 top-flight title tonight with victory at West Bromwich Albion, have been linked with a move for Hamburg’s highly-rated forward this summer.

The 17-year-old, who is starring for his country at the UEFA European Under-17 Championships in Croatia, has remarkably scored 26 goals in 21 games for the Bundesliga outfit’s youth sides so far this season.

Arp, who has netted two hat-tricks for Germany against Bosnia and Ireland in this month’s tournament, is contracted at Hamburg until 2018.

However, the report suggests The Blues have been keeping a close eye on the German gem, and have in fact been scouting the striker for the past six months.

Fellow Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund are also said to be interested in securing Arp’s signature this summer.

Antonio Conte’s side currently sit seven points clear of second placed Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League standings, with just three games remaining of the 2016-17 campaign.
