Arsenal want to seal the long-term future of Matteo Guendouzi, according to reports.
The midfielder has been a key member of the first-team squad since signing from Lorient in the summer of 2018.
Despite being just 20, the France Under-21 international has already played 77 matches in all competitions for the Gunners.
Now Football.London report that the North London outfit are preparing to offer him a new contract at the end of the season.
Guendouzi’s current deal expires in 2022 and it’s thought Arsenal will offer improved terms on his current £40,000 per week salary.
After nine years in Paris Saint-Germain’s academy, the Poissy-born starlet joined Lorient in 2016, where he made his professional debut before moving to England two years later.
