Arsenal and Manchester City are both reportedly interested in signing Scotland international Kieran Tierney, according to The Sun.

The Premier League duo, who currently sit third and first in the English top-flight standings respectively after their first seven fixtures, are both understood to be closely monitoring the highly-rated Celtic full-back ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window.

The 19-year-old, who made his senior international debut against Denmark during Scotland’s 1-0 victory back in March, has provided an impressive seven assists in 16 appearances in all competitions for the defending Scottish Premiership champions this season.

Tierney, who was born on the Isle of Man, is said to have attracted scouts from both the Gunners and Citizens, including in this term’s Champions League campaign as Brendan Rodgers’ Hoops drew 3-3 with Pep Guardiola’s City only last month.

However it will take some convincing for either Premier League club to lure the full-back to England, as Tierney has supported Celtic since he was a kid and joined the club when he was just seven-years-old.
