Arsenal are close to agreeing terms with Sevilla for Ever Banega as his agent flies to London

Arsenal are close to agreeing a deal for Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega as the player’s agent travels to London, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Banega’s agent is reported to be in the capital talking through a deal which will see the playmaker reunite with his former boss Unai Emery.
The Argentine has a release clause of £18million, which will be seen as a good price for the Gunners who are in the market for an experienced midfielder with the expected loss of Aaron Ramsey at the end of the season.

Emery and Banega won the Europa League together in both 2015 and 2016, but the pair also worked together at fellow La Liga club Valencia.
The 30-year-old has plenty of experience at the top level, earning 65 international caps for Argentina and making over 440 appearances for a host of top European clubs.
If completed, the signing of the former Valencia man could be a big coup for the North London club as they push for a Premier League top-four spot.
