Arsenal reportedly failed in their deadline day pursuit of Championship gem Ryan Sessegnon, according to the Mirror.

The Premier League giants, who sit three points behind league leaders Leicester City in third spot, offered Fulham Germany forward Serge Gnabry on loan until the end of the season in exchange for the exciting young full-back.

The 16-year-old, who is England’s Under-16 captain, is highly-regarded at Craven Cottage and is rated as one of the best left-sided talents in English football since Gareth Bale.
